LeftEffect Media, LLC is a company founded on the want and need to work with others that like to challenge themselves creatively.
Brian is a collaborator first and foremost.
He has experience shooting, producing, writing, and directing commercials, documentaries and TV shows.
When Brian isn't behind the camera or flying his drone for a client, you'll most likely find him staying up-to-date with the latest cameras working as an assistant camera and DIT/data wrangler.
Documentaries filmmaking is his passion.

In a brief 5.5 years stint, Brian taught 16 different courses at Madison Media Institute (2008-2013).
Brian served as President of Media Communications Association-International (Internationally and in Madison) and served on the board for MMI's Video Department.
He currently serves on Madison Area Technical College's Video Production Advisory Board, as well as advises for the Columbus College of Art & Design.
Brian has earned awards including an Emmy, several Telly Awards, WCCA Award, MadFed Addy, CAB Award, and an AHECTA Award.
In 2011, Brian collaborated with Outrigger3 and directed the animation "Statisticks" for the United Way of Lake County, quickly became one of TED Talks top "Ads Worth Spreading."

His most current passion project is a documentary about video stores, called RENT THIS! The Movie.
